Population and Climate

The census and the staff lists are both concerned with monitoring the population in relation to the Government. The census records cover various years between 1881 and 1963; though not a complete record of the returns during this period, the years included can be readily identified through the descriptions that accompany each document. The staff lists are more comprehensive in their nature and most include an alphabetical index of employees.
